Anna Therese Day is an award-winning international reporter and investigative filmmaker. Her work has been featured in a variety of news outlets, including CNN, Al Jazeera English, BBC, CBS, and VICE, as well as international film festivals, including Tribeca, Cannes, and SxSW.
Most recently, Anna was honored for her conflict reporting and advocacy with the James Foley World Press Freedom Award. She is a 2018 Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow, a 2016 Truman National Security Partner, 2013 Fulbright Fellow, and a 2012 United Nations Press Fellow. For her work, Anna was also recognized as one of Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 in Media.

Anna regularly speaks on human rights, press freedom, and the intersection of movements and media for broadcast news channels, at government and international forums, and in university and educational settings. Day completed her first speaking tour, “Social Media and the Revolution: the Arab Spring and Beyond” in 2012. She was also popularly selected for widely publicized debates with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, GOP Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, and President Barack Obama.
